Blacksburg Transit opened a Transit Center called "The Loops" in June 2024. It is a hub where all buses stop for easy transfers between lines. To celebrate this, we released a shirt design.
2025
Metallica came to Virginia Tech on May 7, 2025. Blacksburg Transit provided additional service for the first ever concert in Lane Stadium. Employees all wore these Metallica-themed Blacksburg Transit shirts on the day of the event.
